Beaches of Malta

Malta has beautiful beaches for whatever the tourist needs... Whether you want to soak in the sun or something more active, there is a suitable beach in Malta. Golden or red sand, rocks, blue lagoons and even inland seas.

Beaches are easily accessible for families; there are rocky inlets ideal for snorkeling and beach sunsets for twilight swimmers. Most beaches are easily reached by bus and a short walk.

Cafes, fruit stalls or snack bars are abundant on larger beaches during the swimming season, well into October. Equipment for water sports and activities like windsurfing, jet and water skiing, para-kiting is available at beach cafes or shops nearby.
